ALEX DEIF.

PERSONAL TRAINER & FITNESS INSTRUCTOR.

Alex has worked as a ski and snowboard instructor for the last 8 years across 4 different countries from France to New Zealand and is now bringing his love for coaching to the UK.  Passionate about sport, grew up playing rugby and volleyball before training to be a ski instructor, and have always loved being outdoors – whether that’s in the mountains, surfing or running around Battersea Park.

Participating and teaching sports for years, he has a wealth of experience including a fitness class instructor (FitSki) at Chelski, 8 years of ski instructing across 4 countries where he has led both private and group sessions for all ages and abilities up to professional training and a kids sports coach for Premier Education running holiday clubs and curriculum PE lessons for primary aged children as a qualified baseball, softball and ultimate frisbee coach.

Despite spending all his time playing sports, Alex tells us he was always a chubby kid and that carried through into his teens and early twenties. Curious to understand how to train the right way and becoming a PT changed his perspective and helped him get into the best shape he's been in.  He is motivated by setting challenges, finding different ways of doing things and setting clear objectives and routines.

We asked Alex a few questions;

 

1. What do you love most about being a trainer?


I love seeing people reach and exceed their goals and their own expectations. I know how much confidence and achievement it can bring to a persons life.

2. How do you keep your clients motivated?

Listening to their goals and setting out ways to get there. Adapting to the style they need whether that’s tough love or soft touch.
