DAVE GRANT

PERSONAL TRAINER & FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Dave has a strong foundation of needing to not only be fit but look after your body through exercise and lifestyle. With a long career in the RAF Police and HM Prison Services, Dave has lived the life. However, after a serious injury, and a long rehabilitation process, it's now taken an even more important role in his life and career. Before joining Be Fearsome Dave ran a large London territory for an outdoor fitness provider and has taken thousands of classes and PT sessions.

Being one of the older (possibly oldest) instructors in the team, Dave likes to challenge himself to stay fit and in shape after recovering from a serious back injury. Having had to relearn to walk correctly, been overweight with very high blood pressure and depression, he knows how difficult it can be. Being an older person who has had issues, to start and maintain a fitness journey, he can empathise with people having travelled a difficult path.

We asked Dave a few questions;

1. What do you love most about being a trainer?

I love seeing people reach and exceed their goals and their own expectations. I know how much confidence and achievement it can bring to a persons life.

2. How do you keep your clients motivated?

My sessions are meant to be challenging and mobile. I have a bad sense of humour which helps them run (away). I encourage and motivate enthusiastically.

3. Why work with Be Fearsome?

Having worked with other fitness companies, I find Be Fearsome's approach and enthusiasm to the clients, team and training very positive. I enjoy working with the team.

4. What fitness qualifications do you have?

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer

  • Level 2 Gym Instructor

  • First aid at work
