VIRTUAL RUN TOUR.

As part of the VE Day Anniversary Celebrations, we are hosting a virtual VE Day Run Club on Sunday, May the 8th alongside Care For Veterans Charity as they host a VE Day 10km challenge.

You can simply head off and run, walk, crawl or cycle 10km or you can take part in central London with the special route we have put together.

The special route goes past many war memorials and places of significance for the VE Anniversary.

EVENT DETAILS.

At each memorial 'checkpoint' you will be able to access a link to a short video and presentation on the memorial. This can be your short break or you can listen on the move.

For those not in London or where it is not practical to complete this route, we will have segments that represent the same distance between each memorial. When you have hit the segment distance, you can then watch and listen to the video presentation on that memorial. So, based on the 'memorials' and information below, you can see the distances between each. You would watch video 1 and then move 1.9km to watch video 2, then 2.75km to watch video 3 and so on.

You can join the routes anywhere you like, just see the digital map for what the memorials are at each point. It's very flexible. On the map link (provided by mapometer) you will see pin drops and exclamation marks for the important points along the way. These correspond with each of the memorials listed below. Therefore, when you reach one, click on the map to see what it is and then watch the corresponding video.

NOTE: THIS EVENT CAN BE COMPLETED ANYTIME OVER THE WEEKEND BUT THE CARE FOR VETERANS EVENT IS ON SUNDAY 8TH.
