Graeme has always led an active lifestyle. Growing up on a farm in Scotland he then joined the Royal Marines Commandos at 17 where he served for 24 years covering several Operations and tasking’s across the globe but always finding time to indulge in fitness and sport including playing rugby for several years both out in the Netherlands and UK.

Graeme’s last few years in the Royal Marines were as an IT technician gaining an IT degree. However, he soon realised his real passion was still around the health and fitness world, so on leaving the Marines he retrained and became a Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach.

For the past 5 years, Graeme has gained many different skills and qualifications in this field taking a special interest in the maintenance and care specialisations. He believes just as much in flexibility, mobility, nutrition and massage as he does strength and endurance to help attain the optimum in Health and Fitness.

Graeme has recently moved back from Abu Dhabi where he spent the last 18 months working as a PT and in an Avatar style Spin studio. He is now looking forward to working with the Be Fearsome team and clients.

Graeme trained as a PT in 2015 and initially worked on Health retreats in Portugal and Morocco as a Fitness Instructor.

He then settled in London where he worked with Pure Gym running classes and training clients. Alongside this, he worked with other outdoor fitness companies taking boot camp style fitness classes extending his skill set in Kettlebells, Advanced Stretch and GP Exercise Referral courses.

We asked Graeme a few questions;

1. What do you love most about being a trainer?

Passing on what I have learnt over the years to help others achieve their goals, maintain their health (in all aspects) as we know that fitness is not only great for the body but also the mind. I enjoy watching clients constantly rewarding themselves through hard work and working together as a team.

2. How do you keep your clients motivated?

I like to bring a firm but fun approach to my classes. Keeping everyone on their toes, whilst reminding them why they’re here but adding inspirational facts and knowledge throughout the class.

3. Why work with Be Fearsome?

I’ve worked with Tom before and he comes across as a very fair, motivational and hard-working person who listens to not only the clients but also the team – which can be hard to find these days.

The organisation has some great instructors and clients that I knew from before. Plus, the company is growing and developing every day with so much to offer to all.
